We are unsatisfied with the no. of PCR tests done per day – GMOA warns again on the second corona wave

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) says that although its organization has repeatedly asked to increase the number of PCR tests performed daily, it has not yet been brought to the attention of the authorities.

The organization emphasizes that randomly selected individuals, from all parts of the island, should be referred for PCR testing.

They say no area can be declared safe unless a significant number of such randomly selected individuals are referred for testing.
