IPL: Rajasthan Royals languishing in 7th place
Delhi Capitals beat Rajasthan Royals by 13 runs in the Indian Premier League on Wednesday.
“On a slow wicket it is difficult to make up runs in the end,” Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith was quoted as saying by The Associated Press.
“Guys kept getting in and kept getting out, and not making 60-odd (runs) to see us through.”
Delhi Capitals used the pace of Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada to earn the 13-run victory in Dubai.
Rajasthan Royals are languishing in seventh place with six points as they have won just one out of their last six games.
They started the tournament with back to back wins at Sharjah but since then their top order batsmen have struggled.
