England finally bowled out the West Indies for 411 on the fourth day of the second Test in Barbados to take a 96-run first-innings lead, AFP reported.
Joe Root’s tourists will still be hopeful of setting up a final-day victory push, despite taking almost 188 overs to dismiss their hosts.
West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite made a marathon 160 off 489 balls, while Jermaine Blackwood also struck a ton on Friday.
England spinner Jack Leach took the last wicket to fall to finish with figures of 3-118 from 69.5 overs, with 27 maidens.
The three-match series is level after last week’s opening Test was drawn in Antigua.
