Covid patients passes 8,000 with 280 persons testing positive today

Sri Lanka passes 8,000 COVID-19 patients with 280 persons testing positive so far today.

“265 contacts of the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster, 15 from quarantine centres” Army Commander said.

Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster has now increased up to 4,678.

130 more Covid-19 patients recovered & discharged from hospital today increasing total recoveries in Sri Lanka to 3,933.

Total patients identified in Sri Lanka has now increased to 8,152.
