Delayed UL flight from Melbourne reaches Colombo
COLOMBO: The passenger flight (UL-605) belonging to SriLankan Airlines, which suffered a technical fault at the airport in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, arrived at the Katunayake International Airport at 7.40 a.m. on Monday.
There were 218 passengers, including five children as well as 17 crew members on this plane.
This A-330 Airbus-type aircraft, which was made in France, was scheduled to arrive at Katunayake Airport on Saturday at 10.25 p.m., but the flight was canceled due to a technical failure.
Later, a group of six engineers from SriLanka Airlines went to Australia on the night of the same day (April 15) to repair this aircraft, which was brought to the Katunayake Airport.
