Congress will win at least 15 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka’

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Congress would win at least 15 of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

“We will win a minimum of 15 seats, and the maximum will be 20 seats,” he said while addressing a meet-the-press program organized by the Press Club of Bengaluru to mark the completion of the first year of the Congress government in the State.

“We are not claiming like the BJP that we are going to emerge victorious in all 28 parliamentary constituencies,” he said.

The BJP and JD (S) allied and contested 25 and three seats, respectively. The results will be declared on June 4.

The Chief Minister said there was no plan for a Cabinet reshuffle after the Lok Sabha results.

However, Mr. Siddaramaiah said the decision would be taken according to the directions of the party high command.
