Rishad’s vehicle involved in road accident

The vehicle in which former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen was traveling has reportedly been involved in a road accident in the Karuwalagaswewa area.

The incident occurred when a cyclist had abruptly entered the road, causing the SUV, which the former Minister was traveling, to veer off the road to avoid a collision, the police said.

The vehicle reportedly sustained minor damages in the incident.

Karuwalagaswewa Police is conducting further investigations regarding the accident.
