New Vice Chancellor appointed to Peradeniya University

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Professor W. M. T. Madhujith as Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya.

The appointment has been made in terms of Section 34(1)(a) of the Universities Act for three (03) years, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.

This appointment will be in effect from August 01, 2024, according to the PMD.
