Journalist Ramakrishnan contests from Nuwara Eliya District

Sports Journalist and president of the Professional Sports Journalists Association of Sri Lanka Karuppiah Ramakrishnan has officially signed his nomination papers to contest the upcoming General Elections from the Nuwara Eliya District.

He will contest under the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

He worked for Sunday Observer, Capital Maharaja, Ceylon Today, and Carlton Sports Network.

Sports journalist and Lion Nation Sports Network Founder and Managing Director Karuppiah Ramakrishnan, who has extensively worked to promote Sri Lankan sport locally and internationally and had mapped out the app’s launch and website’s relaunch almost two years ago

Along with him, former advisor to the state minister of Sports Ravindran Harin also contests with other Tamil candidates in the SLPP.
