Scholarship Program for Diaspora Children

Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) has been operational since 2006-07.

This scheme provides financial assistance to persons of Indian origin (PIOs) and non-resident Indians (NRIs) pursuing undergraduate courses at Indian universities and institutes.

SPDC cuts across both professional and non-professional courses.

Only fresh-year students are eligible to apply for the scheme. Further details regarding the scheme are available on http://spdcindia.gov.in.

Eligible students from Sri Lanka must submit their applications directly on the portal by 30 November 2024.
