Mano demands President to name those received kickbacks from Chinese Corporations

Senior parliamentarian Mano Ganesan has demanded President Anura Kumara Disanayake to name those who received kickbacks from Chinese Corporations.

The MP said: “JVP comrades are talking informally that President Anura Kumara Disanayake intends to deliver a specific message to #Beijing during his state visit to friendly #China, about to commence tomorrow.
“The message is that no Chinese sources will have to pay off any Sri Lankan middlemen hereafter.
Generally, I welcome this news as such corrupt malpractices should have no place here or anywhere.
“But a question arises here: doesn’t such a message identify Chinese corporations as entities that make such payoffs to middlemen?
“And more importantly, #AKD should name those middlemen who received such payoffs in the past, without further delay, as that will go a long way towards ending corruption in #Lka as promised by the #NPP during their campaign.
