Indian HC defense official Puneet Sushil in key talks

COLOMBO: The newly appointed Assistant Defense Adviser to the High Commission of India, Lt. Col. Puneet Sushil along with the Defense Adviser paid a courtesy call on the Officiating Chief of Defense Staff and Commander of Sri Lanka Army Lt General Shavendra Silva on Nov. 16 and Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana on Nov. 30.

The officers held cordial discussion with the Commander of Sri Lanka Army and Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force on the ongoing matters of bilateral defense cooperation and proposals to further enhance the existing engagement between the two countries.

Mementos were exchanged following the discussions.

The defense advisers also called on the director general of customs of Sri Lanka on Nov. 25.
