Airport reopens: First commercial flight arrives at BIA

The first commercial flight arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning from the Muscat International Airport after reopening of the airport which was closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, BIA duty officer said.
Accordingly, the Oman Air flight WY-371 arrived at the BIA carrying 50 Sri Lankans from Oman.
They were sent to a quarantine centre operated by the army.
