Douglas unveils details about Karainagar-Kayts bridge

COLOMBO: Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda has said the environmental impact assessment has been completed for the construction of the bridge between Karainagar and Kayts, the government said.

The minister said the constructions can be launched once the funds were released from the Finance Ministry.

The residents have made numerous requests for a bridge, as it would benefit immensely when traveling in between the two areas across the sea.
