Ranjan seen in public first time since imprisonment

MP Ranjan Ramanayake was seen in public for the first time since his imprisonment on 12th January.

Prison officials escorted MP Ranjan Ramanayake for a medical checkup at the Hambantota hospital today.

Prison sources told NewsWire that MP Ramanayake is in good health condition and he was bought to the hospital as a he was due to undergo a surgery in his knee as per his medical records submitted to the prison.

Prison officials today produced MP Ramanayake before a doctor at the Hambantota hospital in order to examine his knee.
