UNHCR resolution on Sri Lanka adopted

Twenty two countries voted in favour of the resolution while 11 countries voted against it.

Fourteen countries including India, Japan and Nepal abstained from voting.

The countries who voted against the resolution are : Bangladesh, Bolivia, China, Cuba, Eritrea, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Somalia, Uzbekistan and Venezuela.

Countries that voted in favour of the resolution include Austria, Brazil, Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, UK and Ukraine.
