IPL cricket: Chennai Super Kings win opening match
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets in the Indian Premier League opener in the UAE on Saturday.
Chennai, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni who retired from international cricket last month, outplayed defending champions Mumbai Indians.

Indian Premier League (@IPL) said on Twitter: “Altroz Super Striker of Match 1 is Quinton de Kock.”
CSK won the toss and elected to field. Saurabh Tiwary top scored for Mumbai Indians with 42 runs in 31 balls, followed by Quinton de Kock. CSK’s Lungi Ngidi took three wickets.
Ambati Rayudu was adjudged the Man of the Match for his magnificent knock of 71 off 48 deliveries.
Mumbai Indians’ Trent Boult took a wicket and conceded 23 runs in 3.2 overs.
