Natarajan to miss rest of IPL season
Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer T Natarajan has been ruled out of the season due to a persisting knee issue which has flared up again, according to reports.
“I’m sad to miss the remaining games this season,” said the cricketer.
SunRisers Hyderabad said on Twitter: “@Natarajan_91 has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury and we along with the entire squad wish him a speedy recovery.”
Separately, cricket chiefs announced fast bowler Jofra Archer has officially withdrawn from the Indian Premier League but is on track to be fit for England’s first Test of the summer.
Archer missed the start of Rajasthan Royals’ campaign after undergoing surgery to remove fragments of glass from a finger.
The 26-year-old has also been managing a long-standing elbow injury and it has been decided he will not linking up with the Royals.
