Sajith Premadasa meets western diplomats

Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa met a group of ambassadors this morning ahead of Chinese Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe’s two day visit starting this evening.

Ambassdors of European Union, France, Germany and Romania based in Colombo met Premadasa on his invitation, political sources said.

COVID 19 pandemic, government actions against opposition and current situation in the country were discussed at the meeting, sources said.

Meanwhile, Chinese minister Fenghe will arrive Sri Lanka this evening.

He will be meeting President and Prime Minister tomorrow in Colombo.
