Harin Fernando files a FR seeking to prevent his arrest

Harin Fernando who is currently in hospital has filed a fundamental rights petition in Supreme Court seeking an order preventing his arrest.

Fernando has filed his petition through his lawyers.

CID earlier asked him to appear before their office to record a statement on Easter Sunday attack.

However, MP admitted to hospital before he was asked to come to CID saying he was unwell.
