COVID-19 victim Suresh C. Angadi ‘was a dedicated MP and effective minister’

Indian Railways paid tributes to Suresh C. Angadi, minister of state of railways, on his unfortunate and most unexpected demise.
The minister passed away on Wednesday due to COVID-19, two weeks after his diagnosis.
“Under his directions, Indian Railways was attaining new heights,” @RailMinIndia tweeted.
“Entire Railway family is saddened and mourns his demise,” it added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi (@Narendramodi) said in a Twitter message:
“Shri Suresh Angadi was an exceptional Karyakarta, who worked hard to make the party strong in Karnataka.
“He was a dedicated MP and effective Minister, admired across the spectrum. His demise is saddening.
“My thoughts are with his family and friends in this sad hour. Om Shanti.”
