US Senate Majority Leader McConnell says Trump ‘sounds well’
US Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he had spoken with President Donald Trump and that he sounds well, Reuters reported.
“Just had another great call with @POTUS. He sounds well and says he’s feeling good,” McConnell said on Twitter.
“We talked about the people’s business — fighting the pandemic, confirming Judge Barrett, and strengthening the economy for American families,” he added.
The president went through a “very concerning” period on Friday and the next 48 hours “will be critical” for his care, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on Saturday, according to The Associated Press.
