Sri Lanka parliament to meet again on Jan. 11
COLOMBO: Parliament sittings for 2022 will begin on Jan. 11.
The Secretary General of Parliament, Dhammika Dasanayake, said the committee on parliamentary business made this decision.
The committee met under the chairmanship of the Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
Accordingly, it has been decided to hold sittings on Jan. 11, 12 and 13 following the conclusion of the budget debate on Dec. 10.
Parliament sittings are scheduled for Jan. 11 at 10 a.m.
Time from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. is allotted for the Questions for oral answers.
