Due to new COVID regulations , Submit your passport application via registered post : Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Geneva
With the introduction of new COVID related health restrictions dated 17th December 2021 and subsequent instructions dated 22nd December 2021 by the Swiss authorities, physical contact will have to be limited in carrying out official work in the Consular Section.
· Therefore, you are requested to send via registered post your application along with a full set of original documents, copies of the same, photos of the applicant, two self-addressed envelopes (with CHF 6.30 worth of stamps on each envelop) and a copy of the “Consular fees” payment slip.
· Consular fees related to your consular matter and required documentation are available in the website. You can login to the site mentioned below. Please make only bank transfers for the consular fees. If you process consular fees through post office, service charges should have be borne by your end. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH for consular fees in the envelop. Copy of the payment slip should be sent with the full set of documents.
· The original documents submitted will be returned to the applicant in one of the self-addressed envelopes (through registered post).
· Your web appointment number, date and time should be mentioned at the top of your application.
