Avant-Garde chief to help get Ranjan released (Video)
A group of artistes has met Avant-Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi to seek the release of fellow entertainer and politician Ranjan Ramanayake.
The group had met Senadhipathi in Pitakotte on Wednesday (26), during which he had assured to take up the matter with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
They had also handed over a letter containing several requests, including the release of Ranjan Ramanayake.
Samagi Jana Balawegaya member Ranjan Ramanayake is currently serving a 04-year prison sentence after being convicted on contempt of court charges.
