2 officers interdicted as suspect dies in custody
Two policemen have been interdicted after a suspect in the custody of the Pugoda Police has died.
A Police Inspector and Sergeant have been interdicted in this manner.
The order was issued following initial investigations conducted by the Gampaha Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Four suspects were arrested recently on charges of assaulting the 21 year old suspect.
