Holiday for schools on June 17

COLOMBO: The Ministry of Education announced that has been declared a holiday for all government and government-approved private schools.

Accordingly, all government and government-approved private schools will remain closed Friday (17).

Sri Lanka is running short of food, cooking gas, fuel and medicine, after economic mismanagement and the COVID-19 pandemic wiped out its foreign exchange reserves.
