Public employees and New Year vacation

The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has issued a notice to all District Secretaries, Divisional Secretaries, and all other officers engaged in local governance regarding the upcoming long vacation from April 11 to 14.

Accordingly, it states that all public officers, including Divisional Secretaries, should coordinate with government institutions to carry out the required administration activities during that period.

Furthermore, they have been informed to deal with disaster management and other emergencies as required.

Meanwhile, the ministry has also mentioned that the officials should make arrangements to implement the necessary procedures during this holiday period to ensure uninterrupted continuation of the development projects and programs related to the government’s development activities.
