President meets with Catholic Bishops’ Conference for key talks

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has met with President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Bishop Harold Anthony Perera, and other conference members to discuss various critical issues.

The President’s Media Division (PMD) reported that the discussion focused on education reforms, the investigation into the Easter Sunday terror attacks, environmental concerns, and matters related to the Catholic Church.

During the meeting, the President also provided an update on the economy and the government’s plans to tackle the challenges related to the cost of living.
