Sri Lanka air travel: Arriving passengers ‘need prior approval’

COLOMBO: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has reiterated that all domestic and foreign passengers arriving in Sri Lanka must obtain approval from the Foreign Ministry or the Sri Lankan Embassies in their respective countries before arriving in Sri Lanka.

Information on such approved passengers should be forwarded to the Civil Aviation Authority.

The authority said that they would then send information to the respective airlines to issue air tickets.

Passengers are encouraged to use the email address caaslpax@caa.lk to submit information.
