Doctors’ Associations request President to implement 7 proposals to prevent increase of Covid deaths

The Sri Lanka Medical Association, The Government Medical Officers Association, The Association of Medical Specialists together with the SLMA Intercollegiate committe have written a joint letter to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa expressing deep concern of the current Covid crisis situation in Sri Lanka.

Doctors have put forward seven recommendations to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa urging him to consider them to be implemented as early as possible.

Strict movement restrictions, expanding testing, home qurantine for asymptomatic patients and more equipment are among their main requests.
